For hikers, the “Kroppacher Schweiz” is a paradise. There are at least four routes from the Pension. At less than a mile from the Pension, short and long routes start, going along the short and long Nister rivers.

We recommend “Weltende”.

From the Nister, there are a number of Nordic walking routes. For those interested, we have a book with Nordic Walking routes across the Westerwald.

You can order lunch packages with us, to take along your hike.

We have also thought about dogs. To stimulate walking them, we have introduced the hikerpass, which can be stamped. Once it is full of stamps, there is a delicious treat for your dog. Ask us about it when you arrive.
